Barcelona has Eyes on Three Players it wants to add to the Squad

As the transfer window is coming to a close, the clubs are hastening in acquiring the players they think would be crucial to their squad.

However, it is understood that not every club gets to sign the player they want to sign due to a lack of funds.

Barcelona’s Major Concern

Although Barcelona is the second-largest Spanish football, it is still finding itself facing the worst financial crisis. This is the reason why the club is not able to add the players that it wants to its squad. 

For now, the major concern for Barcelona is not being able to register Jules Kounde. The club is still facing a financial crisis and therefore, it is not able to add him to its squad.

Barcelona has Already Spent A lot

In the current transfer window, Barcelona has already spent a tremendous amount of money on signups. 

According to statistics, the club has spent a total of €163.2 million so far on huge acquisitions. The most notable signings the club has carried out in the running transfer window are Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski.

Barcelona is Eyeing Free Players 

As the club continues facing a financial crisis, it has changed its tactics a bit. The club is now eyeing “free transfer” players so it can add them to its squad.

The players with “free transfer” may seem easy to acquire but they can have very high salary rates. 

Still, the club seems to be eyeing the players falling in the particular category. According to inside sources, Barcelona is eyeing three players who are all in the same category.

The club is currently showing interest in Andrea Belotti, Adnan Januzaj, and Edinson Cavani. 

Andrea Belotti is currently playing at Torino, while Adnan Januzaj is playing for Real Sociedad, and Edinson Cavani last played with Manchester United.

Potential Departures

For now, there are several speculations that a couple of players may leave the club before the transfer window ends in September.

The speculations suggest that the players expected to leave the club are Memphis Depay and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. 

The expectations are that Memphis Depay may depart to join the Serie A club, Juventus. While Aubameyang is expected to leave the club and return to the Premiere League club, Chelsea.

Xavi Awais Squad’s Evaluation

Xavi, the current manager at FC Barcelona has stated that for now, his full focus is to use the transfer window as much as possible. 

Once all the signings and departures are complete, they will proceed with evaluating the performance of their squad. 

For now, the fans are hoping to see Cavani join the team as they want to see coordination between Cavani and Lewandowski.
